时间转瞬即逝，2008级学生出国求学已近一年。他们在英国的生活、学习情况如何，这是人大HND中心学弟、学妹最为关心的问题。以下是08级学生张红婷的一则生活小记，与大家分享。
What a relaxed day … 30, 05, 2012

现就读于诺丁汉特伦特大学
That was yesterday, We have to hand in one report (4000 words), which took me 8 days to finish. That was something that encouraged me to come to library to continue to prepare the exams.
Well, after I handed in that report, I got home for lunch, which was very nice and pleasant….. NOODLES AGAIN….then, I wanted to practise walking with high heel shoes. So I roll my hair and put my hat on, wearing the dark purple 7 inches shoes and left home to buy some sweet corns. When I got home, I looked for my keys everywhere, but I realized I did not take them with me when I left the home in the very beginning. So I cannot get in the house at all.
I left the sweet corn at the door place, and went back to the CO-OP, read all the magazine for this MAY. I found the ads are all the same from Dior, Chanel, Next, S & M, H&M, River Island, Top shop they are just been repeated in different magazines. The cover story is about Anglia Julia and Band Pitt, some kind of ring story was going on. And I remembered that Kate, the Princess, her hair style is the most wanted one, the British boys would like to see on their girlfriends’.
Till half five, Sarah and Jon came home, I can get in finally. We had some sweet corn soup and pasta. I got ready for my wonderful swimming time. I took my blue beach flip-flop, towel ,everything I need for swimming. Got on the bus 6, and arrived in Victoria centre, and transferred to bus28 and arrived the bus stop, walked another 10 minutes to the swimming pool. The gate was less busy than last time, I was still wandering why, a manager of the place came to talk to me. They CANCELLED the swimming class on Monday.
WHAT……….. My first reaction is that was a long way to come and I felt so sad that the only thing I want to do is fly up in the sky, I cannot do it anymore. At last, I took the same way back to home, I had a backup plan to watch the football game: Manchester City and Manchester United. The game might decide which team is best in 2012. This could be fun. I can still have a relax time in front of the Television. Yeah, there is something for me to look forward to.
When I got home, the front room is so quiet, does not sounds like there is game going on. So I went upstairs, put my stuff down in Sarah and Jon’s working room. Jon told me, we cannot watching the game tonight, cause it is on satellite television, we did not pay for that. WHAT………….. OH MY GOD….
I assumed it will be a fun and relax day after I handed in a report, while it turned out to be so disappointing for me. Anyway, there was something fun happened during those two things, I got phone calls from Maryam every time when I found out the truth I cannot do what I wanted to. We had some great laugh about what I have been through, and that was a realise.

我是张红婷，现在就读于英国诺丁汉特伦特大学，对你们有很多的话想说，落到笔下，又不知从何说起。就说这个小日记吧，其实每天我都会用英文写些随笔或见闻，经常地和外国同学交流，并且和中国同学交流我也尽量全部用英文。我觉得入乡随俗非常重要，大家一定要全身心地融入进英国的环境中，忘掉自己，忘掉中文，凡事都以英语思维、英式方式去处理。一个人到异国他乡，很多生活琐事也许会让你觉得有趣、开心或者烦躁、生气，无论怎样，都要独立并坚强地承担起这一切，因为，这是我们成长的必经之路。祝福大家！祝大家课业顺利，将来申请到你们最心仪的学校！
